This is a place where we can have conversations – continue dialogues and ideas started in our meetings.
One subject I’m researching is “Shovel Ready” Green Arts Projects in Tucson- do you have an environmental play – does your org. need an energy audit? Ready to install solar and water harvesting- looking for a permaculture mural? The list includes potential after school program sites, needs for murals and dance classes – this is a comprehensive list to demonstrate the need for jobs in the arts.

We have a number schools that would bring us in–for performances, hands-on workshops, after school programs, etc–in a heartbeat. Also there are several social services agencies who would like to bring us in. I could have those set up within a week or so if there were funding.
Already in the works are three school extended residency programs for next year. If ACA does not fund them, they will be cancelled.
Basically, I have the work out there. All I need is a way to help them pay for it.
