WE ARE THE TROLLS! WHO ARE YOU?

We have been evicted from our domicile, the archaic 4th ave bridge. We didn't mind the train, it soothed us to sleep! But now we are awake, and out in the streets of sun! They would like us to just walk away and disappear into the desert, without a meep. Well, however you wish to make your presence known, by protest, crying, stoic realization, sentiment and even thee odd-one-out optimism, arrive at the 4th Ave underpass day of new bridge celebration, August 20th, at a yet determined time in full garb of green skinned faces and hands, ruffled used cave-dwellers clothes, and any props useful to your vision of who your troll will be and do.

Let's talk! My name is Devin and would like to see you there making a scene from fantasy... Make-up and some clothes available on site I bet too!

Michael,
We have a number schools that would bring us in--for performances, hands-on workshops, after school programs, etc--in a heartbeat. Also there are several social services agencies who would like to bring us in. I could have those set up within a week or so if there were funding.

Already in the works are three school extended residency programs for next year. If ACA does not fund them, they will be cancelled.

Basically, I have the work out there. All I need is a way to help them pay for it.

This is a place where we can have conversations - continue dialogues and ideas started in our meetings.

One subject I'm researching is "Shovel Ready" Green Arts Projects in Tucson- do you have an environmental play - does your org. need an energy audit? Ready to install solar and water harvesting- looking for a permaculture mural? The list includes potential after school program sites, needs for murals and dance classes - this is a comprehensive list to demonstrate the need for jobs in the arts.
